Package Holiday Significantly Changed: PTR 2018 Refund

Your Rights Under PTR 2018 Reg 15
You can accept the change (price reduction offered), request an alternative package of equivalent value, or cancel and claim full refund (minus any discounts offered by operator). You must choose within reasonable time. If you cancel, refund must be paid within 14 days.
Step-by-Step Claim
- Write to operator immediately when change is announced: "I am rejecting this change under PTR 2018 Regulation 15. Please offer a price reduction or alternative package."
- Keep all correspondence and documents (booking confirmation, change notice, emails).
- If operator refuses, escalate: "I am exercising my right to cancel under Reg 15 and claim a full refund."
- If refund not received within 14 days, claim via Section 75 (credit card) or chargeback (debit card), or pursue in court/claims service.
